Roadtrip Nation x Home-y Made Meals Collaboration Video
Last month, we collaborated with Roadtrip Nation on a video project to highlight the impact of volunteering and how it can empower us to create positive change and connect us to more meaningful work. The video features individuals and volunteers from Creating Justice LA, Home-y Made Meals, and Polo’s Pantry, in addition to community members from the Peace and Healing Center. Follow along as we talk to organizers who are building community and fighting food insecurity, right here in Southern California!
Key Takeaways:
Volunteering can inspire and guide new career discoveries.
Volunteering is about more than giving back to your community—it’s a chance to engage with issues firsthand that matter to you.
Community building is removing barriers that allow people to see their potential and creating space for growth and innovation
Major props and deep love to Alex Yoon, Pastor Cue, Melissa Acedera, Kayo Anderson, fellow Home-y Made Meals Driver Rachel Perry and our volunteers – we wouldn’t be where we are today without y’all! Thank you for continuing this journey with us.
